About the restaurant
Discover Koulchi Zine, which means “everything is beautiful” in Arabic. This Riad restaurant with a spacious and beautiful rooftop terrace is located on the street of Riad Zitoun Lakdim, once a neighborhood where Jewish artisans practiced their craftsmanship and where most of them lived in the Jewish quarter of El Mellah.
The restaurant Koulchi zine was established in a house that belonged to a Moroccan Jew named Joshua CORCOS, a banker and financial advisor to the sultans Moulay Hassan 1st, Moulay Abdelaziz, and Moulay Hafid. This house also served as the financial residence of the Glaoui family. Joshua CORCOS, the grandfather of the protectorate era, sold this house.
Today, this place invites you to dive into history, not only through its walls but also through refined cuisine that blends Berber, Arab, Spanish, and Jewish influences, both international and Moroccan.
You will discover a magical setting where tradition and modernity meet subtly and informally, where architecture and flavors harmonize smoothly. Koulchi Zine takes on the challenge of perpetuating these architectural and culinary traditions through a perfect alliance aimed at delighting your taste buds and your eyes.
